Our Legacy of Investment and Growth
The Zhou & Mahakala Group was established in Uganda with a strategic mandate to expand its investment in high-end manufacturing. This commitment is built upon a foundation of more than 25 years of successful manufacturing and trade experience from our founders, Zhou Rong and her husband.
This legacy includes a controlling stake in SIMI Mobile, Uganda’s first and largest mobile phone manufacturer, which has demonstrated a proven track record of successful investment and job creation in the country. This new venture represents an increased investment in key sectors, including robotics and green chemicals, to further contribute to Uganda’s economic growth and technological advancement.
Our Leadership & Expertise
Our operations are led by a team of highly qualified professionals, ensuring that Mahakalazhou operates at the highest levels of technical and strategic excellence.
Our CEO, Xiao Yang, holds a PhD in nuclear engineering from Osaka University, Japan, and brings extensive experience as the General Manager of an Asset Management Center for a publicly listed environmental technology company.
His expertise in complex systems, data management, and large-scale asset oversight directly informs our company’s commitment to precision, safety, and operational integrity.
